Baxter Park Sunbather

A Dj from Dundee who's been spinnin tunes for over 18 years playing up and down the East Coast of Scotland

Started off behind the Wheels of Steel in 92 and within 6 months had a residency at a Clubnight called SHAKE YER BONES @ Ellon with Martin Tough and Mark Wood....which mutated into Smooch and brought some of the finest dj talent of the time uo north.....Harri from The Sub Club, The Rhumba Clubs Zammo, Luvdup, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Gordon Kaye, Jacqui Morrison and John Digweed who made is Scottish Debut @ Smooch...

He moved back to Dundee and was asked to play @ ....(ISH!) a night in Dundee @ The Hubarra which opened up the venue for other clubnights to take advantage of.
....(ISH!) went from strength to strength and even tho there were only 4 parties they quickly became a clubland mainstay in Dundee. On the back of ....(ISH!) BPS then got the chance of a lifetime to cover for the late great DAVE CALIKES @ Fat Sams in Dundee. Dave was a one off....a genuine guy who was always enthuisastic about music, was a reviewer in MIXMAG UPDATE and never had a bad word to say about anyone....some people could learn a lot from him. Dave tragically died in Jan 96. A short stint as a resident at Fat Sams followed but it wasn't the same without Dave and BPS left soon after.
Then came the Kentucky Club...but BPS soon became disillusioned with the Dundee Clubscene and the mediocre tunes that were  and decided to hang up his headphones ...
Then in 2003 BPS was @ SOMA SKOOL at Dundee Uni and saw a demo of ABLETON LIVE and decided to give it a go using software.....yes it is still dj'n ....and started to produce Old Skool mixes and then a chance meeting @ The READING ROOMS with Dean Nelson and someone else who's name escapes me..GOING BACK TO OUR ROOTS was born..
